Noa Shakargy

ARIEL ELIAHU

The name comes first

First name: angel, last name: prophet

With such a name is it any wonder you came to me?

At 6:40 he was called to a distant position but

He runs to the closer one,

toward the end, crosses to

The knowing, sky, whirlwind

The numbers help me.

19 years old. an ATGM.

Company 77. Platoon 7. Firstborn of 7.

Your gaze deprives my words,

but the numbers still mean something

Last seen: 10/7/23

Plowing through towards the end, to save

Last seen: Going up to heaven in a whirlwind

I am trying to retrieve you for this poem:

Dimples that grew a beard,

the innocence of a child's smile,

Your eyes that stream peace

"How much I love the prophecies of hope and salvation," you say,

The 13-year-old climbs to the land

from the great continent

A moment on earth for eternity inside

"My cake is tastier when my friend

eats it," you say. From the center of Jerusalem,

with a laches of a quarter, I answer you

When oxygen are in my lungs and a swallow outside the window:

He eats, he eats
